A- Asynchronous Messaging

Asynchronous Messages

Message exchanges may be Asynchronous, whereby the message consumer does not wait for the response for a request by blocking its own processes pending the arrival of the response to the asynchronous message. The provider is either aware of the address where the response will be sent, or is provided with such an address in the asynchronous itself. Synchronous messages are the alternative to asynchronous messages.

Asynchronous messages are more efficient than synchronous messages and are the recommended style of exchange, although, synchronous messages are required in many scenarios.
